The new Kyoto Train Station was built with great beauty. I went to visit this building during the summer holidays and I was amazed by the continuous run of escalators. There were escalators one after another for around 15 floor non stop. The escalators can take you up the roof balcony in one run. The train station is not only a station but also incorporated in the building a hotel, department store, main bus station, cinemas and office block. It is like a city by itself will everything you need under one roof.
