LIQUID (bottom section)
The bottom half of this section represents liquid. The swirls convey the meaning of movement and the liquid gradually flows towards the center. The black around the swirl represents earth and dirt giving it an underground sense.

BURNING (top section)
BURNING (top section)
The top section of this sketch represent the verb "burning". I used an illustration of flames to convey the idea. The simplicity emphasies the fact that flame is common and simple and that it will be able to process the idea of burning to the views around.

I attemped to create a google sketchup image of a fire shape that I had drawn for one of my sections.
